REGISTRATION GUIDELINES
General Instructions
IACSC 2024 will be held on August 23, 2024 (Friday) from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Parañaque, Philippines. Participants are required to fill out this form to register for the conference. Please read the guidelines below carefully.

To be considered for oral presentation: June 30, 2024
Early Registration: July 22, 2024
Registration Fees
All registration deadlines are set at 11:59 PM (GMT +8). Handling and/or processing fees (including transfer fee and exchange rate for local currency payment) may apply; please confirm with your bank.
Member Institutions: Thammasat University, Universitas Hasanuddin, Universiti Sans Malaysia, University of the Philippines, Vietnam National University, Yokohama City University
To qualify for the student rate, please provide proof of student status from the University (e.g. student identification card, registration form, or attestation by a professor) in English. The participant must be an active student during the time of IACSC 2024.
Conference presenters (oral and poster) may avail of the early registration fee rates beyond the deadline.

Registration Confirmation
Registration will only be confirmed upon receipt of full payment; unpaid or partially paid registration fees will be considered invalid. To avail of the early registration fee, please pay in full on or before the indicated deadline. The later fee will be automatically applied for payments past the set deadline.
An email notification will be sent to you to confirm your payment and registration for the conference. You will also receive the conference information packet. Official receipts will be provided on the day of the event.
Payment Details
Fees may be paid in PhP (local participants) or USD (international participants). Handling or processing fees (including transfer fees or exchange rates for local currency payment) may apply; please confirm with your bank.
Please ensure that the full registration fee is transferred without any deductions due to additional charges by your bank. Proof of bank transfer should have the conference name, participant’s name, and registration number. Without these details, registration cannot be confirmed promptly and may be considered invalid.

The conference will be held at Seda Manila Bay, located at Asean Avenue Cor. Abueva Road, Aseana City, Paranaque, 1701 Metro Manila, Philippines.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be notified in writing and emailed to the Registration Committee. Registration fee refunds will be made as follows:
- Cancellation until June 30, 2024 11:59 PM (GMT +8) – maximum of 75% refund including processing fee
- Cancellation until July 15, 2024 11:59 PM (GMT +8) – maximum of 50% refund including processing fee
No refunds will be processed for cancellations made on or later than July 16, 2024, unattended sessions, or early termination of attendance.
Cancellations or Modifications of the Conference due to Force Majeure
In the event of Force Majeure, the organizer reserves the right to modify or cancel the conference. Force majeure includes any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of the organizer that prevents or impedes the realization of the conference. This includes but is not limited to special actions taken by the government or local authorities, war or hostilities, riot or civil commotion, unforeseen political and economic events like national emergency or any comparable events, pandemic or epidemic situations, and other major health risks, earthquake, flood, hurricane, cyclone, fire, or other natural physical disasters, explosion, accident or breakdown, strike, or any threats to public safety (including terrorism).
The organizers cannot be held liable by participants for any damages, costs, or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodation costs, financial losses, etc. Under these circumstances, the organizers reserve the right to retain the entire registration fee and to use those for the next IACSC in which the participant may participate without paying further fees.
